Key Roles and Responsibilities:–
-Conduct research to develop new products, manufacturing procedures and specifications for new products
-Review with QA/QC and Technical process and conducts stability program for new products of R&D batches.
-Conduct specific research to comply with client’s general requirements and on a project basis as required.
-Prepare R&D samples, ingredients lists, and Certificate of Analysis to go with the samples for customers.
-Assist to review relevant GMP procedures.
-Monitor and maintain R&D laboratory and testing equipment including purchasing of testing equipment in a cost-effective manner, conduct or arrangement equipment calibrations and preventative maintenance.
-Monitor, support and oversee subordinates’ job duties.
-Support marketing and quality assurance/control team in dealing with technical and quality issues raised by customers.
-Provide presentation to Internal customers and travel with marketing team to meet customers as and when required.
-Worked on special project as required time to time
Experience & Qualifications:-
-Master’s Degree/ B.Tech – Chemical in chemistry background or related with min. of 7 years of exposure in similar profile preferably from color cosmetics.
-Successful and progressive research and product development experience in cosmetics/personal care.
-Familiarity with aseptic processing will be an asset.
