Keys Roles and Responsibilities :-

Marketing Strategy:-

-Work with the research agencies to undertake market research to understand the consumer trends, competitor insights brand positioning, etc. to identify areas of focus to develop a point of view of the brand strategy

-Liaison with the agencies (media, creative, advertising, digital, PR, etc.) to develop the annual brand plan for the channel; to the identified focus areas and business requirements

-Work on annual sponsorship / brand association properties that enhance the brand and build a deeper level connect with the TG

Brand Management : Brand plan execution:-

-Review the creatives developed by the advertising agency and provide recommendations to ensure its alignment with the brand and provide necessary approvals.

-Ensure that the production of creatives is as per the guidelines and monitor the execution of the plan in the identified channels as per the agreed scope of work in liaison with the appropriate agencies

-Develop the content for the digital media in liaison with the creative agency and ensure that contents are updated by the digital agency as per the plan

Brand Management : Retail Marketing / Consumer In sighting

-Liaison with the Sale team and the appropriate agencies to co-develop the plan for generating demand at salons

-Drive the execution of the BTL activities as per the agreed plan and provide recommendations as required for the achievement of stated target

Brand Management : Performance evaluation:-

-Evaluate the effectives of the executed plan with regard to the reach, engagement, brand awareness, etc. and recommend suitable course correction mechanisms in case of deviations from the envisaged plan and targets

General Management : Vendor Management:-

-Review and finalize on the agencies / influencer based on their suitability / offerings / expertise /specifications to best partner with the firm based on the business context and requirements

-Review the performance of the vendor periodically vis a vis the agreed plan and take appropriate actions viz. renewal of contract, decision to drop, etc. as per the mandate

Category management:-

-Responsible for driving sales of portfolio categories in the respective regions, category expansion & geographic expansion

-To develop a thorough understanding of the market segment, current trends/events, and continually monitoring competitor efforts

-Drive NPD program with customer engagement through shopper-focused solutions across range, activities, engagements, pricing, promotions & vendor management

-Should have a strong orientation in digital, metric driven with acumen to quickly acquire technical knowledge about the product

Experience & Qualification:-

-MBA, preferably in marketing

-Rich experience of 7-9 years on brand communication role

-In depth Category understanding

-Responsible for portfolio categories, sales and gross margins. At least 5 years of relevant experience in marketing. Exposure to Lifestyle brands/ Retail for at least half the duration. Cosmetics/Personal care year would be an advantage
